Using the carbon 14 and the thermoluminescence
THE CARBON 14
To start the man how discovered the use of carbon 14 is Williard Libby in 1949.
The carbon 14 is used to determine the age of some Archaeological remains ,but ,you can only use it in remains that were alive in the past as some skeletons or mummies.This happends because with the carbon 14 or radiocarbon you can measure the amount of carbon14 in the remains so, the less carbon the eskeleton have the more years it have.
THE THERMOLUMINESCENCE
Minerals exposed to the natural radiation like the mud used in ceramics accumulate electrons, which number is a measure of the quantity of radiation. If the above mentioned minerals surrender to temperatures of 300 to 600°C, the radioactive energy that they contain transform in the shape of light, this phenomenon is called termoluminiscencia. The scientists can calculate the antique of objects of mud measuring this energy, with a margin of mistake of scarcely 10 %.
The element tellurium
properties:
Tellurium has a silvery-white appearance that when pure exhibits a metallic luster.
Tellurium is used as a basic ingredient in blasting caps.
Tellurium is used for ceramics.
uses:
- Used to improve the machining quality of metal products and to color glass and ceramics. Also used in thermoelectric devices, vulcanization of rubber, percussion caps.
It´s chemical symbol is:
- TE:tellurium and it´s origin is from the Greek tellus which meens "earth".
- It was discovered by Baron Franz Müller von Reichenstein in the year 1783.

In a little town named Fang that was located in phill that was one continent of the world.In that town the central economy was the making of ceramics pots and jars. It´s components of the ceramics were: mud and a little amount of tellurium, the mud you can fuond it everywere but the tellurium were in some quarries in which the people get of theme.One day all the tellutium of the quarries was ended so, the people were getting crazy so, they invented the market with which they can exchange tellurium of other towns for other sources.
